I own an ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DT 15.6" FHD 120Hz Laptop GTX 1650 with 4GB graphics, Ryzen 5-3550H, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD plus a 256GB PCIe SSD, running Windows 10 and Stealth Black. It weighs about 2.20 kg. The 120Hz monitor feels unnecessary since most games I play right now cap around 30 FPS, which doesn’t improve quality. Currently I’m using it for Need for Speed Heat and Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Are there any frame cap options in your Nvidia control panel that can change the in-game settings?

It seems the system might not be utilizing your 1650 version. Keep in mind, AC Oddessy is well-known for its challenging gameplay.

I didn't set a high frame rate cap, but I turned on VSync in the game options because it was exceeding 120. The FPS fluctuates between 65 and 120 occasionally, then drops back to around 30 to 34 on average.

The numbers around 1650 likely refer to a specific time period or standard. If it’s not using that number, then it wouldn’t have been possible unless something changed or was adjusted.

Open the shortcut, right-click and check for "Run with Graphics processor." Select your 1650 model. The same problem occurred with my G15 but was resolved afterward.

You're correct about the system specs. It's running on an 1650 with a Ryzen 7 4800H and GTX 1660 Ti maxQ. You're seeing around 160fps, which is great. I'm curious to know your temperatures and power settings. That information will help me diagnose the issue. I'd also like to run some benchmarks for comparison. Don't worry, we can all assist you with this. Just a reminder to check the latest drivers for both GPUs.
