I recently upgraded the CPU from a 10400f to a 13600k, which meant I also needed to replace the motherboard with a Gigabyte Z690 DS3H. Even though I had a 1080p monitor before, I could push beyond that resolution in both my desktop and games. Now I’m stuck, with no way to go higher—just lower resolutions. My BIOS is up to date, but I’ve already tried reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers without success. I’m hoping to be able to reach higher resolutions because I plan to add a 2K screen and test how my system performs in games. Specs: RTX 3060ti i5 13600k, Gigabyte Z690 DS3H, 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 M.2, 16GB DDR4 RAM.

There was likely an issue earlier—usually you can't exceed your monitor's resolution. Upgrading to a 2K screen would allow you to run it at full 2K quality.

For performance at 1440p, a 3060 TI delivers well. Expect around 80 to 150 frames per second in most games. (Higher numbers in lighter-graphics titles)

It seems the update might have disabled Dynamic Super Resolution, but I'm unsure about its behavior on the desktop version.
