Hello, I hope you find this useful. I’m trying to get help with PowerDVD software on Windows 8. I’m facing problems with region playback settings. The version I’m using is Cyberlink’s PowerDVD Pro 13, and I’m encountering restrictions after changing the region settings multiple times. Once I’ve altered the region five times, I’m locked out and can’t adjust it further. I’ve read online guides suggesting registry changes to extend the limit, but those instructions are only for older Windows versions like XP and Vista. They don’t mention PowerDVD 13 or the specific steps I need. I’m also unsure how to locate the relevant registry entries in the software’s files. Could someone clarify the process or point me in the right direction? Thanks a lot!

Despite checking hidden and system files, I found no BRF or .dat files in PowerDVD's program folder. This issue persists even with enhanced visibility settings on Windows 8.

I see other options look suspicious. You might want to look at this site: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=149191
