From an Apple perspective, I can't test Limelight on a phone. However, I'm curious how it feels for Android users. Would anyone with an Android device want to try it out if they haven't already?

I tested it on a Nexus 7 from 2013, but the performance was poor. It wasn’t nearly as smooth as my Shield Portable.

It's rarely as impressive in other areas as it is with the shield. The shield was created specifically for that purpose, while tablets and phones use Wi-Fi in low-power settings to conserve battery life, which means they prioritize efficiency over performance.

It might work as an alternative if you don’t want to purchase a shield yourself.

I used it with my Nexus 4 and it performed well, but the Nexus 7 didn't quite match. Nexus 4 had latency around 50-80ms, while the Nexus 7 showed 100-150ms.

I applied it to my LG g2 and noticed a 35ms delay using a mogo controller—it seemed as though the device was operating smoothly on the phone.
