It seems you're referring to optimizing a large archive. A tool like Spark or OpenIV can help by replacing specific texture files instead of altering the whole collection.

I placed the new vehicles.img file in your game folder and the Sabre GT now appears differently—like a new green tone. Edit: What should I do to fix it?

The original mod likely modified the carcols.dat file. I'd reset it as well, or just the Sabre's section.

You can restart it by following the on-screen instructions or checking the reset option in the settings.

Locate a standard version on the web similar to how you found the vehicles.img file.

You updated the vehicle image and car data files, but the Sabre GT still shows the SMPA60 fatal error. You’ve encountered this issue before and have a solution.

I recall a situation where altering any vehicle in the parking spots at a safe house could trigger a crash when approaching them. For instance, if a comet was saved in a specific slot and modified, it might crash upon being near it again. The fix would be to get close enough to observe it without causing damage, then employ an RPG to neutralize it.
