Hello everyone, I purchased two 16 GB RAM sticks from Amazon, totaling 32 GB. I replaced my existing 8 GB sticks (16 GB) with them. When I tried to power on the computer, it didn’t turn on. I moved the new sticks into their slots and it started working much louder than before, but no display appeared. I then reinstalled the old sticks and had to adjust them as well. Eventually, the system booted up successfully and the BIOS reset. I also tested them on another machine, but they didn’t work there either—neither in one at a time. Here’s the link to the product page if you need more info: https://www.amazon.com/KingBank-Computer...r=8-8&th=1) I tried them in another system too, but they failed there as well. I’m really curious if this was a scam or just a mistake.

It might be a faulty item. Since you purchased it from Amazon, would you like to request a refund?

The specifications are decent for a mid-range brand. The product could be faulty, but it might simply not be compatible with your setup.

They offered a chance to return it within a month. What alternative device are you considering?

I don't recall the details, but both of your brothers' computers came from CLX.

It could be that your board isn't compatible with that amount of RAM...

they wouldn't because the system lacks support for DDR4 3200MHz memory.

Companies list memory compatibility to ensure proper function. BIOS updates often mention better support, but not all changes guarantee board compatibility. It's wise to verify recent updates for your specific hardware.

Based on what I've seen, memory compatibility on Zen 2/3 can be quite tricky. It's often better to bring back the original units and opt for a different setup. I had to experiment with many RAM and board combinations before my Zen 3 system became stable. In the end, a Patriot Viper Steel 32GB DDR4-3200 stick with more relaxed timing settings worked well for booting and running smoothly, though it required some testing.
