Lights on the motherboard flash before the PC shuts down.
Yesterday evening my computer functioned properly but it failed to power on this morning. I pressed the power button and saw it loop through the DRAM, CPU, and VGA settings, then stayed on the yellow indicator light before shutting down after a short time. After trying to reinsert the RAM separately in each slot without success, the issue persists. The Asus Rog Strix B550 F (WiFi), Ryzen 7 3700X with stock cooler, RX 580 8GB (Asus dual OC), and HyperX Fury RGB (2x 8GB) with a 500W cooler are all listed.
Have you considered restarting the CPU or exchanging it? It seems like there might be a problem with the CPU itself.
I attempted to reposition the CPU, but it didn’t improve. I also replaced the thermal paste and added another cooler, yet results stayed the same. 70084914325__9DF01743-F885-4AEB-9AC6-ECE1B9FB1C84.MOV
I believe I just resolved the issue. I powered on the PC using the power switch for about ten minutes. After that, it started up and the BIOS was reset because I had previously reset it. When I tried to set the RAM to its original configuration, it booted strangely but still functioned. I plan to run some RAM tests to check for any problems.
