There isn’t a compatible slimmed-down version of Windows from Vista to 11 that supports Nuance Vocalizer Expressive TTS. The available lightweight OSes lack the necessary speech synthesis capabilities. You may need to upgrade your system’s RAM or convert your eBooks to MP3 format for better performance.

The system needs specific specifications. For extra memory, DDR 2 and 3 chips are available inexpensively on eBay. A typical stable Windows version like Windows 7 Home Premium should function, as it handles newer apps better than older ones and works with older hardware more effectively.
