So this is my first build, I put everything where it’s supposed to be but I get no signal from the monitor, other than in my motherboard the ez debug light for Dram is on. What should I do? I have a Ryzen 5 1600 (2x4) 8 GB of ddr4 ram 2666mhz msi rx Radeon 480 and 128 GB m.2 storage and a 500gb hard drive

Ensure RAM is installed in slots A2 B2 or A1 B1. Verify your motherboard supports the RAM (check its website for details). For Ryzen, aim for at least 3000 MHz+ RAM. What model is your motherboard? Do you have a PSU?

Consider also swapping the RAM modules. Test each type in every position across all slots.

There is sufficient RAM installed. The remaining memory isn't functioning properly, so you may need to replace the motherboard and install a new one. If the issue persists, it's likely the CPU is the problem.

I placed the order for those RAM sticks, they should arrive this Sunday. I’m wondering if that was the issue since the video I watched for setting up the PC didn’t mention the correct speed—my RAM was listed as 2666 MHz instead of the required 3200 MHz. I’m really hoping that was the cause. If, in any scenario (hoping it doesn’t happen), the RAM fails to function at all, could you suggest an alternative motherboard that fits my specifications? I truly wish this isn’t a problem.
