Check your motherboard for a USB-C connector on the front panel. If not present, an adapter might be necessary. Updated January 17, 2021 by SansVarnic.

TUF X570 Plus lacks a USB-C header. You could purchase a PCIe card featuring a USB-C port (sold on platforms like moddiy, though it may be expensive for its price) or employ an adapter to link it with a USB3 or USB2 connection, which would naturally lower the port's performance.

I need just a converter. Are there any reliable options available? Also, can you operate it without an adapter until you obtain one?

I own the XL edition of your case and the Pro version of your MoBo. I purchased a PCI adapter card.

For USB3, you can use an adapter to link the USB-C port to the board's header. Then connect the case's USB3 ports with a PCIe card, bypassing USB2 limitations.

I didn't check the USB-C, I assumed USB3. My device has four USB3 ports on the front plus USB-C, but the motherboard only supports two USB3 headers. The card also provides two additional ports on the back.
