Hello, I own a functional machine for industrial 3D modeling and mechanical analysis. I installed a dedicated server setup that offers strong performance without breaking the bank, along with an external cooling system. My setup includes: -GPU: Quadro RX 8000 -CPU: Xeon Gold Scalable 6138 -RAM: Supermicro X11SPA-T Next I have a 1 TB NVMe SSD, a 4 TB HDD, and cloud storage for nearly a hundred TB. I also use a custom cooling solution that keeps temperatures around 35-37°C. My power supply is a Corsaire 1000W unit. I use this PC for both work and personal use and would like to boost its clock speed—currently stuck at 2 GHz while the system reports turbo at 3.7 GHz. I’m aiming for 4-5 GHz. It relies on the specific workload, including whether AVX, AVX 2.0 or AVX-512 is active, and the number of cores used, which influences Turbo Boost behavior. Check the last row for the Gold 6138.
Understood, I see. Whit five core is being used but only has a 2GHz clock. Is he running in BIOS or IPMI?
