LG C1 shuts down all other monitors when it starts.
I'm dealing with a really frustrating problem lately. It's hard to figure out what else I could try. My setup includes a 65-inch LG C1 in the living room, connected to my PC in another room via an RTX 3080 through a long HDMI 2.1 cable spanning about ten meters. Whenever I power off my PC and turn off all monitors except the main display, Windows warns me that the secondary monitor is disconnected. This forces me to manually enable it each time. The C1 only works properly when powered on, and if it's off before booting, everything functions normally. I've tried various solutions: switching cables, updating drivers, using DDU to remove GPU drivers, entering safe mode, factory resetting the C1, and even adjusting color depth settings in NVIDIA Control Panel. These changes only provide temporary relief, and the issue resurfaces after a few reboots. It feels like something is stuck—maybe a software glitch or hardware quirk. I still have records of my specs: Windows 10 22H2, Ryzen 9 5950x, RTX 3080, and I've attached a screenshot showing the display settings each time I restart.
