Preferred Genres: Racing, Role-Playing Games (RPG) / Japanese RPGs (JRPG), straightforward puzzles, first-person shooters, action-adventure titles (though I haven’t recently explored these – U_U).

Racing:
Extreme G (from my older Nintendo 64 experiences)
Mario Kart
Need for Speed—Most Wanted is my top pick within this series
Redout: Enhanced Edition
Boson X—While not strictly a racing game, this indie title features increasingly rapid levels as you accumulate ‘energy’ before ultimately crashing.

RPG/JRPG:
The “Tales” series
Pokémon up to the third generation (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald) – it became excessively over-the-top, in my opinion.
Final Fantasy VII… (it was my initial experience, and I can't deny its significance)
Chrono Trigger
Seiken Densetsu 3, now known as “Trials of Mana”
Phantasy Star Online 1/2/Blue Burst
World of Warcraft—Wrath of the Lich King is the best expansion.

Puzzle:
I enjoy solving Sudoku occasionally!

Shooters:
Goldeneye 007
StarFox – both the Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 versions
Metroid – The Super and Prime trilogy

Action/Adventure:
Certain nostalgic titles from Rareware stand out to me, especially before their decline.
Banjo-Kazooie (both installments)
Donkey Kong Country (1, 2, 3, and the Game Boy version)
Conker’s Bad Fur Day
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Link to the Past (even though I often needed walkthroughs to overcome some of the dungeons – SMH)
Okami

Also Notable:
Streets of Rage 2, Super Smash Bros series, Super Street Fighter 2 (when combos were simpler), Soul Calibur 2, and One Finger Death Punch. *These are primarily fighting games; while not among my favorite genres, some truly captivated me.*

I also fail to see the appeal of Minecraft.
Occasionally, I view videos of other people playing it to gain a clearer understanding before potentially spending money on it myself.
I experience a sense of solitude and disconnection while observing these playthroughs, which is surprising given that I do appreciate certain solo games.
Although you can add companions and play collaboratively, they won't consistently be present.
Fundamentally, it’s a massive open-world game where you largely operate alone… And now I understand the feeling of isolation—and the non-interactive characters don’t improve this at all; they lack any genuine personality, except perhaps for those peculiar Creeper creatures!

The enduring appeal of Minecraft stems from the fact that numerous individuals possess imaginative spirits or aspire to construct impressive creations using their own abilities. Indeed, one person successfully replicated the entire planet within the game, and many adults are responsible for developing these remarkable projects. Another server meticulously constructed all of Russia (to my understanding). I once possessed a highly creative mind, which led me to thoroughly enjoy Minecraft; however, that creativity has diminished, rendering it less engaging. Furthermore, numerous players modify the game extensively—similar to how Skyrim was transformed—and some of these modifications are exceptionally impressive, enhancing or challenging gameplay for dedicated enthusiasts.

I appreciate The Sims series, despite Electronic Arts’ transformation of it into a profit-driven venture; I find it difficult to harbor any negative feelings toward the game. It holds a significant place in my past as I didn't explore various games until I was approximately eight years old, and the game remains particularly dear to me, especially Sims 2. While I also enjoy Sims 4, I sincerely hope that Sims 5 will improve upon it.

Bully…I find it superior to Grand Theft Auto. People often assume the title “bully” indicates a negative experience, but the narrative is actually quite wholesome; the protagonist simply seeks a tranquil school environment and aims to curtail bullying by confronting those who bully others, ultimately fostering a more peaceful atmosphere within the school. Of course, one can engage in violent acts and bullying, but that isn't the core focus of the game—it’s about transforming the school into a haven free from conflict.

I don’t have many games that resonate with me deeply; however, I particularly enjoy Mystery JRPG/RPG, Adventure MMO, and Open World genres.

Thank you all for your responses and the clarification!

I’ve made a few adjustments to the subject’s title to better suit it.

Are you currently enjoying this game on your computer? Regardless, how many of you are actually able to play and conquer the Dark Souls series (any installment – 1, 2, or 3)? This game presents incredibly challenging gameplay, and I was unable to progress beyond the initial levels, haha… Even with cheat codes and trainers, I couldn't advance further in the game.

I struggled to determine my next destination due to the lack of a clear objective marker, and we’re missing essential mouse/keyboard controls if I recall correctly. Occasionally, I would become disoriented because there isn't a map either, as far as I know.

However, I believe the entire Dark Souls series is exceptionally difficult to complete, at least in my view. Despite this, I’ve heard that others don’t experience any issues and have even finished it twice.

I am presently engaged with RAGE 2.
There are strange visual effects in certain game environments – notably the use of pink hues on objects, surroundings, and opponents – and I don't understand why the developers chose to include this element.
However, the gameplay is genuinely enjoyable...it’s a lot of fun.

I finished Dark Souls 3, but on Xbox it was incredibly frustrating!

If you’re considering a return trip to THE WITCHER 3, be sure to explore this modification and the accompanying videos—it appears quite compelling, offering a novel yet familiar experience akin to SKYRIM, and one I've previously missed the opportunity to complete. However, some of you may not share my enthusiasm.

This mod, titled “Magic Spells for Signs,” introduces new magical capabilities into THE WITCHER 3, enabling players to cast meteor showers and tornadoes, summon golems, and more. Specifically, it features innovative magic items that alter or substitute sign abilities when placed in quick access slots or trophy slots. These items can be purchased from ofieri and Novigradian merchants. Furthermore, each item includes unique text designed to integrate with the game’s narrative.

To activate these spells, you’ll need to select a quickslot item (like your torch) and choose it as you would a bomb or crossbow. The console command “witchermage” can also be used to obtain all of them.

I enjoyed most of the ones I played - Ultimate was the bomb, IMO!
I played 1, 2, and Ultimate. 4 was ok - there was even that Sub Zero spinoff for the N64(I think?). That, was 'different'.
Armageddon was the last one I played. I feel Midway slipped up with that one, it wasn't very good. I also watched bits and pieces of my brother playing 10 - I wasn't interested in playing it myself.
I imagine my interest waned after Armageddon. But I'd have no issue playing Ultimate again!
I know it's not something to be talked about on here, but I am playing some titles via emulator - for some games it's the only way to get 'em.
There are games from 20, 30 years ago still better than some of today's titles. Graphics isn't everything, eh?
Another game I just remember that I enjoyed playing was NFL Blitz. I don't know how some folks can keep playing literally the same sports games year after year(I'm looking at you, Madden), but being able to slam and knock the crap out of other players in that game was really fun.
A special spice, if you will, that those other sports games lacked.
I'm not even a fan of sports titles, save for racing(some people don't consider racing a sport, so I don't know), but this is one of the sports games I thoroughly enjoyed!
Any interest in those wrestling games? I got the most out of the custom character creation some of them had.
Another thing I liked about those were that
I didn't have to put up with the BS drama that plagues the show
that eventually stopped me from watching it.
I don't care if it's staged, I just wanted to see some action, not some drama after every match - or in the middle of one. If I want some drama, I'll go watch a soap, for Pete's sake!
