He’ll finish it in under an hour. You might have to explain everything as if he’s a child, especially when it comes to using Linux instead of just breaking it.

It remains Linux. It will fail when faced with Linus, and you won’t even manage to start it.

Sure, using the visual installer was a great choice for someone needing something reliable without complications. It’s clearly the perfect fit for Linus, who values simplicity and stability.

He successfully tried Manjaro for a month after breaking Pop_OS in one of the most entertaining stunts I've witnessed lately, which isn't necessarily the craziest plan ever. Beyond that, I believe the project has some fundamental flaws from the start. If you aim to convince Linus about Linux, I’d expect either one of these outcomes: 1) Microsoft makes an extremely foolish move with Windows that Linus would gladly invest time in switching to, or 2) a Linux distribution provides something so compelling it justifies the switch while still meeting his Windows needs. Windows definitely has many problems, but Linus is already adept at handling them, so there’s little clear benefit in sticking with them. The effort to learn a new OS and troubleshoot it is unmistakably costly upfront, and it’s clear whether the time invested is worth it or not. Find a tangible return that justifies the obvious initial expense in time.

A Linux distribution that resembles Windows isn't a positive choice. If you're switching to Linux, fully adopt it instead of trying to make it look like Windows.
