I received a crash on my prebuilt cyber power PC (labeled et9300-1266). The fans didn’t spin again after the incident. It seems the fan controller might be faulty or disconnected. I’d appreciate guidance on locating it and how to safely remove/reinstall it. Please share the photos if you need visual reference.

The model number you provided didn’t return any results. Without the motherboard model, we can’t determine the location of the chassis fan header.

Are the fan wires leading to the rear compartment of the enclosure? This makes sense given that all your case fans failed simultaneously. Make sure the enclosure is powered. If every wire from the enclosure connects to the fans and none reach the power source, that’s likely the issue.

All three fans link to the controller unit that has a double-sided port on the motherboard tray. Remove the Molex or SATA power cable from the controller to the PSU and then reattach it. For extra tips, I’d spin the two fans next to the tray in the opposite direction so they push air in instead of out. Right now, the box is sealed and all the fans are exhausting, making it impossible for fresh air to enter. This seems like a poor choice from Cyberpower’s perspective just for appearances.

Hey, the missing Molex connector you spotted is still important. It affects your circuit, even if some slots are empty. Make sure you match it to the correct pinout. (I usually stick to labeled parts for clarity.)

The fans should be connected to the controller as shown in the photo. Could you provide a detailed description or additional images of each connection? It seems there are probably two or three fans linked to the controller. There should be one cable linking the control board to the motherboard for adjusting fan speed, and another power cable from the controller to the PSU. If the only Molex connector is the power one, you may need to reconnect it so it receives power. The choice of which unused power connector to use shouldn't matter.

Yes, any of those Molex connectors should work.
