Hey everyone, I’ve finally chosen GTA V even though my laptop isn’t powerful enough. My biggest challenge now is freeing up storage space so the 65GB drive works. Here are some details you might find useful: CPU – Core i5, RAM – 8GB, HDD – 500GB split into two 200GB partitions, GPU – AMD HD6750. I also have several programs installed that can create extra files: Premiere Pro CC, Photoshop CC, After Effects CC. I’m a bit concerned about the project files in Dead Island, but I think I can clear out unnecessary stuff. Let me know if you need tips on cleaning up your PC!

Executing Disk Cleanup with admin rights lets you remove unnecessary Windows update files. I've noticed it can free several gigabytes of space. Note: Disk Cleanup is a built-in Windows tool.

As discussed earlier: cleaner! This tool is free and effectively clears space from your hard drive!

Make sure Spotify is cleared of its cache. It seems it’s configured to use about 10% of your storage space by default.

use WinDirStat to see how much space your HDD is using. it displays folders as squares, with size reflecting their amount. give it a shot and you won’t be disappointed.

D4RK has a nice vibe. TreeSize also works, though it feels less modern with its folder-only look. It leans more toward a traditional interface.

SpaceSniffer efficiently locates unexpected big files you might not remember. When using Adobe CC, it clears cache files once you're done with a project.
