Sure, you can connect a separate LAN cable to another PC with a Wi-Fi card and have it share the internet connection. Just make sure both devices are properly set up and connected to the same network.

As mentioned earlier, your network adapter settings include an option to connect via Wi-Fi even when using the built-in LAN for other devices. Be aware that performance may not be optimal, but it should function.

Good luck with the network drivers. They tend to create more issues than simply connecting the internet to the computer.

Check the downloads and save them to a USB stick. Installing an XP system online isn't a good idea.
