Hello everyone, I'm testing an I7-6700K at 4.5GHz with stable power at 1.230v under full load. The temperatures are 28°C when idle and 66°C during maximum load. I'm using a Gigabyte G1 Gaming 7 motherboard and a Corsair H100i V2 cooler with IC Diamond thermal paste. I want to know if these conditions are safe for long-term use, whether the voltage is too low and could harm the chips, and if setting it to static instead of adaptive would be better. All data comes from Intel XTU.

I use almost identical configuration (6700k + H100i V2 + MSI Gaming M5) and can achieve the OC up to 4,6 ghz at 1.27V (maybe 1.3V isn't clear). I maintain similar temperatures and have been using it for nearly 1.5 years without issues. Therefore, I think voltage and temperature are safe.

I mostly keep the same configuration (6700k + H100i V2 + MSI Gaming M5), and I manage to reach an OC of 4,6 ghz at 1.27V (maybe 1.3V is a bit uncertain). The temperatures remain similar, and I've been using it for almost a year and a half without any issues. Therefore, I think the voltage/temperature range is safe.
