NiP stands out as a top group—focus and enjoy the two strongest players globally by stats. In 2013 they went unbeaten for eight months and were even praised for dominating the scene. Though their peak is past, they remain among the elite. F0rest is a top pick for me; NFT is considered the second-best, with strong play on both sides and a top-tier player like JW Virtus Pro from Poland. Neo is another well-known name, excelling in both teams. Recent form shows some decline, especially after a strong 2014 run against NiP, which has since weakened. A new roster was introduced, but only a couple remained, including KennyS—often hailed as one of the best CSGO players. NaVi was once strong but is now struggling, facing tougher opponents. Dignitas is consistently solid, ranking among the best in the league. The team’s depth shines, especially on T and CT sides. They recently defeated NiP in a tight five-game series, showing early promise. However, their recent performance has dipped. Mercenary is a powerhouse with a solid lineup, led by top talents like Shox and BST. Shox is talented but unpredictable; BST features Scream, who’s underperforming lately, and FXY0, a former standout. Watch out for new formations like Mercenary and BST, as well as emerging squads such as MC and BST. Keep an eye on consistency—best-of-one matches can surprise, and underdogs often pull off the upset. Remember, in best-of-three formats, teams only need a win in one match to claim victory, making surprises possible.

Absolutely excited about CSGO esports! I’m adding a little insight on the teams. NiP dominated early in the game, racking up impressive wins and still benefiting from their massive popularity. They often entered tournaments unprepared but quickly adapted, relying on practice sessions before stepping up. Now, other teams have caught up in skill, making it tougher to stay ahead. They’re quite flexible and adjust well against opponents.
Virtus.Pro were once considered the top legends, earning what many call the "golden 5." Their team consistently won major tournaments. The Polish squad was nearly unbeatable, but only three remain today. The two new players have shown strong talent, especially in raw ability and experience.
Fnatic is another well-known Swedish squad, often seen as the second-best. Their lineup has improved after adding players from LGB, making them formidable. Their play is slow-paced and relies on teamwork, with JW leading the charge. It’s a unique style that’s hard to counter, though it demands a lot from each player.
Dignitas stands out for their top-notch defense and creative CT strategies. They’re predictable but solid, with a strong team presence. Their T-side tactics are innovative and they play consistently well.
Titan/VeryGames made waves with their armor strategy in the second round, becoming a global standard. Despite early struggles, they’ve shown resilience. Their style is solid but requires strong individual effort.
NaVi remains the top CIS team, led by a dominant AWPer. Their defense is unmatched, and their coordination makes them tough to beat. NaVi’s teamwork is impressive, though they sometimes struggle with execution.
Cloud9 offers great teamwork and skill, but their North American roots mean less practice against European teams. Still, they’ve shown promise with a strong performance style.
Hellraisers, formerly Virtus.Pro and Na'Vi, have had their ups and downs. Hellraisers’ former players are still respected, while Na'Vi’s current lineup has been inconsistent despite strong performances.
C9 is unique with their balanced play and innovative tactics, though their chemistry can be a challenge.

Everyone’s buzzing about ScreaM’s return to form after his recent performance dip. It looks like he’s regaining his sharp shooting skills once more.
A valuable platform to check upcoming matches and watch them live is hltv.org. When deciding which team to support, the choice depends entirely on your preferences. As someone from Australia, we don’t have teams that consistently perform on the international stage—our only experience was with Vox Eminor at ESL Cologne, which didn’t gain much support. It’s simpler to choose a team like NiP, as they rank among the top five globally. While they may not be the absolute best, they offer solid competition. Occasionally, with better coordination, their performances become more compelling, and since many players share our teams, watching live tournaments becomes a fun, passionate experience.
