Lenovo Y50-70 GTX960M has reported issues, including performance problems and compatibility concerns.
I've experienced some problems with my Lenovo Y50-70 touch over the past while playing GTA V and Bo3. These issues often show up as random white dots or lines in the game. I'm trying to figure out if it's a driver problem, but so far downgrading drivers hasn't helped. Could you offer any advice? Thank you in advance for your help!
I don’t have a solution right now, but I have a laptop cooler to prevent this. I’m trying to figure out how to fix my failing GPU without returning it to Lenovo, since they’re slow.
That’s a GPU problem. It’s tough to figure out if the issue comes from drivers or the hardware itself. Some lines look like artifacts, and things like black lines or stripes are similar. Another possibility is the screen having a problem—either due to a hardware fault or physical damage.
I liked your computer two weeks ago and they performed a full hard ware scan. They mentioned only a screen issue, but it kept happening before the repair. Could this be related to a driver problem or could the manufacturer not know if your GPU is supposed to fail during testing?
