I've experienced some problems with my Lenovo Y50-70 touch over the past while playing GTA V and Bo3. These issues often show up as random white dots or lines in the game. I'm trying to figure out if it's a driver problem, but so far downgrading drivers hasn't helped. Could you offer any advice? Thank you in advance for your help!

It appears your graphics card is not functioning properly. Could you tell me what temperature readings you're experiencing while playing games?

I don’t have a solution right now, but I have a laptop cooler to prevent this. I’m trying to figure out how to fix my failing GPU without returning it to Lenovo, since they’re slow.

You're wondering if the problems are recent. It seems like a short time ago you experienced some issues, and a full system test confirmed your computer was fine. Still unsure about what might be causing it now.

You have no control over the situation. The problem lies with the hardware, so the best choice is to replace the faulty part. Since you still have a warranty, it's more cost-effective for Lenovo to take care of it.

I don't believe it's failing. I checked all the signs for a failing GPU, but they didn't match what I experienced. My GPU isn't showing any artifacts—it just has this white line appearing and disappearing.

That’s a GPU problem. It’s tough to figure out if the issue comes from drivers or the hardware itself. Some lines look like artifacts, and things like black lines or stripes are similar. Another possibility is the screen having a problem—either due to a hardware fault or physical damage.

I liked your computer two weeks ago and they performed a full hard ware scan. They mentioned only a screen issue, but it kept happening before the repair. Could this be related to a driver problem or could the manufacturer not know if your GPU is supposed to fail during testing?

I'm not sure. My old laptop had a motherboard and graphics card problems and had to go through the return process three times.

What do you believe is the best course of action since I'm currently lacking clarity?
