So here’s what happened—I didn’t use my laptop for two days, but today I opened it for the final time before deciding to get a new one. After checking the Device Manager, I found something called "Microsoft adapter.." under Display Adapters and tried installing the NVIDIA Experience driver. It worked! Everything is back to normal. I think the BIOS automatically updated itself, which resolved the issue.

You're experiencing the same problem for a few months, with the GPU appearing only occasionally and mostly when using Intel integrated graphics. Your L340 has been running smoothly for over a year. This situation is quite frustrating.
