I've purchased this laptop a few weeks back and so far it's been running poorly, especially during gaming sessions. Recently, my display would freeze and then turn black. Checking the Event Log revealed an error with ID 14. I removed the NVIDIA drivers and installed the one from Lenovo Vantage, which has only caused a single crash instead of repeated random failures. These crashes occur even when I'm not playing games during Zoom calls or browsing in my browser. Regarding gaming, I have to drastically lower the graphics settings just to achieve 1080@60fps (not the native 4K resolution). I also turned off the Hybrid setting in Lenovo Vantage, leaving only the 3050Ti running since I experienced issues with games using internal graphics. I'm unsure what's causing the problems or how to fix them. The performance of games on this machine is unsatisfactory. I opened the NVIDIA Control Panel and set the preferred GPU to the 3050Ti with Thermal Mode in Performance mode. Despite these adjustments, I still face frequent crashes.
