Choose the appropriate boot option carefully. Since you're using Legacy mode, stick with it unless you're certain about upgrading to UEFI. Reinstalling from a clean install might be better if you want a fresh setup.

OS starts from the storage drive. The method doesn't need to be UEFI or old system; UEFI works better. It's also compatible with modern Windows versions.
