LED on the GPU flashes when launching any game begins.
This problem began roughly a month ago. The connection wire to the GPU begins flashing white, screens power down, fans increase speed, and I turned off my PC using the power button on the case. After looking up some advice, I discovered a short-term solution. I switched from the 530 game ready drivers to the 528.49 version. That resolved the issue for a month, but it returned now. I updated my drivers to the latest 535.98 and ran the Windows update routine. The white flashing, shutdowns, etc., happened within five minutes. I then went back to the 528.49 driver. Still, the problem returned. I reinserted the GPU, performed a paperclip test on the power supply, replaced the RAM, and scanned my PC for malware. Nothing seems to solve it. I can run other programs without triggering the white light, like Chrome (for writing this), Discord, or browsing Steam and Epic. But only when launching a game does the white light start flashing and the screens shut down. If I act fast, I have about 15 seconds to close a game window and stop the flashing before the monitors turn off. Any assistance in fixing this would be really helpful, as my gaming PC can't play properly right now.
My specs (prebuilt PC): Processor – AMD Ryzen 7 3800X (8-core, 3.90 GHz), RAM – 32 GB (16 GB added), GPU – GeForce RTX 3060 (12 GB), Link: https://www.amazon.com/CyberpowerPC-Supr...49&sr=8-16)
I fixed the problem. The root cause was the PCI-E cable (connects from the power supply and links to the graphics card). Fortunately, it had a spare zip-tie already attached and was already plugged into the PSU. I replaced the old one with the new one, and everything is now working properly. This should help anyone facing the same issue. I didn’t locate a solution elsewhere.
