Hi everyone, I’m trying to resolve a problem with my new Ryzen CPU. I started assembling my PC and haven’t managed to boot into BIOS. On powering on with the red light, the motherboard shows CPU and there’s no display output. I learned that the latest Ryzen models need a BIOS update via qflash to F30+, but I tried that and waited 30 minutes without any improvement. I also attempted booting with just one RAM stick and in various slots, but it didn’t help. The CPU pins look fine, and there’s no visible damage. My specs are: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Gigabyte B650M Aorus Elite AX DDR5 XFX 7900XTX, Samsung 990 Evo M.2, Corsair SF1000L SFX, Corsair Vengeance DDR5 16GBx2 at 5200MHz, Bequiet Silent Loop 2, and 360mm case.
It seems the CPU indicator is the issue. I captured a picture. I removed the CMOS battery and waited five minutes; the red light is still on. The front panel buttons work, and I can turn it on with the front button.
Certainly! Here’s a revised version of your message:
