My top choice is related to memory problems, though the BIOS seems more manageable, so it should come first. Fixing these issues is frustrating.

Sure, the label might not always mean everything is up to date. It’s possible your system still needs updates even if it shows 3000. And don’t worry, this can happen anywhere—including Minnesota. Let’s get going!

AMD had to revise their BIOS multiple times. It might be an outdated version. It’s still simpler than the long testing process for memory, even though neither costs money. Start with the inexpensive and straightforward steps, then move to the more costly ones unless there’s a clear reason. All attempts so far match the red CPU indicator. There may be a few additional checks that are tough and pricey (though likely repairable).

Often there’s a dedicated USB port for BIOS updates. You could install the new BIOS via USB and apply it. I’m not sure about the formatting process or any other details. Your motherboard manual should contain relevant information.

I disassembled the PC and reassembled it correctly. Everything appeared intact, with no bent pins or problems. While putting it back together, I observed that the 24-pin PSU cable was positioned directly behind the CPU socket area on the motherboard. When installing the case, the connector seemed to be pressing against the motherboard. I adjusted the wiring so it wouldn’t touch the board. Could this have caused a short or other issues? It now boots fine, no CPU lights, and temperatures are normal. I remain cautious though, as it still worked after the first attempt and again later.
