Hello everyone, just completed setting up my new system. It includes: Motherboard – MSI B450 Tomahawk Max II; CPU – Ryzen 5 5600G; RAM – 2x8GB at 3600MHZ; GPU – Corsair Vengeance PSU; Case – something from eBay. After connecting everything, the PC powers on and the GPU, fans, and case lights up. The CPU fan is active but there’s no display output or EZ DEBUG lights for it. I’ve checked for bent pins, debris, or missing thermal paste, but found nothing. I also swapped the CPU cooler to test. What could be wrong? I’m planning to install the latest BIOS next to see if that helps.

I checked the methods for installing or updating BIOS, but the videos indicate the system starts booting directly into BIOS. My setup doesn’t follow that process.

Yes, that's one approach, but fortunately your board supports flashback, allowing completion without posting.

Typically you require a powered CPU to refresh the BIOS, though some boards allow it with minimal hardware. It’s unlikely your model supports this. You’ll likely need a newer Ryzen or Athlon CPU from the second generation.

I also attempted it. Connected the GPU and other motherboard ports, and the issue persists.
