The LED on your case is indicating a problem with the VGA connection or card. Since your monitor works fine and your RTX 3050 boots properly, it suggests the issue might be with the VGA setup. Check your VGA cable, port, or motherboard settings. No need to worry about the flashing unless it persists.

It seems the issue might be with the HDD LED rather than the power LED. When transferring files, the flashing speed could change, indicating the problem is with the HDD LED.

They fixed it by connecting the power and HDD LEDs correctly. The issue was a problem with the board's power-saving settings. To fix it, place the machine in "Sleep" mode, then wake it up—this keeps the LEDs steady instead of making them flicker.

You are correct with the sleep mode but I suspect something else. The blinking diagnostic is correct but wrong interpreted. If you are connected on Displayport, at least in my case, I can't see the POST screen because the monitor is not detected. Only after boot things go to normal but the VGA card error persists. Going to sleep and back could re-force this check and since it doesn't go through POST again things go back to normal. I've tested this theory with HDMI and DVI output from graphics card and Displayport from integrated graphics and got no issue. I remember Linus saying at some point about Displayport not working during POST so it seems to be a general issue. Or by design, who knows. Anyway I hope this helps, it's pretty frustrating.
