I recently purchased a new prebuilt PC. Initially, everything worked properly. I planned to add more RAM and an HDD from my old machine. After installing them, the DRAM indicator started flashing orange. I attempted to remove the new components, but the issue persisted—DRAM flashes orange, CPU turns red, VGA lights white, and the boot screen shows green. Is there a way to resolve this without sending it for repair? The motherboard is an ASUS TUF gaming B550-Pro with 32GB RAM at 3200MHz each.

The system is functioning properly through the CPU, RAM, GPU, and boot process. If it encounters issues with any component, it will indicate which stage is affected. Would you like to know if it should run Windows without older software installed? Please describe the exact problem you're experiencing.

Review the instructions to understand the LED signals. You can obtain the full guide from the Asus website if you prefer a digital version. Insert one stick of RAM into the farthest slot from the CPU. When placing two RAM sticks, keep a gap between them; dual channel operates only when you position the sticks in slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 4. Always prioritize filling slots that are farther from the CPU socket first. If using an SATA M.2 drive, certain ports might be turned off. Connecting your hard drive to the disabled port will prevent it from functioning. Please refer to the manual for details. A single hard drive won’t stop your PC from booting. Typically, the issue lies with a poorly seated CPU or insufficient RAM (incorrect installation, faulty RAM, etc.). You might also need to re-seat the video card—perhaps during removal or installation of new RAM, it could have shifted slightly. Initially, after booting or if the BIOS detects a change in RAM, it may take a few minutes for the system to initialize. If you access the BIOS but not the OS, navigate to the boot menu and specify the correct drive (hard drive or SSD) for startup.

It becomes unresponsive on the VGA port and then powers on after a short time. When the older components are present, the display turns off entirely. There’s no indication of any connection to the computer, making it unclear whether it functions through the standard interface.

Do you possess integrated graphics built into the processor? If uncertain, please specify the model you are using.

It turns out I wasn't patient long enough. The system began to work eventually, and I moved into BIOS then.
