I just assembled a new PC for myself. It includes an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D at 4.2 GHz with four cores. The cooling setup is a pure Loop 2 FX Liquid CPU Cooler, paired with a Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX ATX AM5 motherboard. There are four slots and four memory slots available.

I have a TEAMGROUP T-Force T-Force Delta RGB 32 GB (two 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 RAM stick. The case has four slots, so I expect to fit four cards.

On the drive side, I have a TEAMGROUP T-Force Cardea Z44Q with a 4 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVMe SSD, a Gigabyte GAMING OC GeForce RTX 4080, and a Power supply rated at 12 MW with 80+ Gold certification. The case is a Shadow Base 800 FX mid-tower model.

I’m experiencing some problems. When I power it on, everything appears to function normally—fans spin, LEDs light up. However, the cooler is installed at the top, and I was warned about potential noise issues. After a while, I see the AMI screen pop up saying “new CPU.” Pressing DEL, F1, or F2 doesn’t seem to register anything until it finally acknowledges and starts “Entering Setup…” but that doesn’t work.

I also noticed the VGA LED stays on, which suggests a problem with the card itself. I’ve tried reconnecting it to the PCIe slot and used an anti-sag bracket to keep it stable. The display connection seems to be working, but the AMI interface is linked to the GPU. The LED light is minor compared to the difficulty accessing BIOS. I’m puzzled about what could be causing this issue.

How much time have you been waiting? ...the RAM training is slow, especially with four sticks—it can take hours.

It's reassuring that everything is functioning as expected. No need to worry about the VGA light during initial startup—it's normal for the system to remain powered on until it recognizes the card. Just ensure the card is properly seated and connected.

If you notice a picture, you can relax until Windows is set up. UEFI and BIOS behave oddly. To avoid waiting, remove RAM from slots 1 and 3 on the CPU and test.

Consider the expected duration carefully. The system is still processing and hasn't fully completed setup yet.

Remove the sticks in slots 1 and 3 from the CPU. Most systems already have problems with 4 DDR5 sticks, so it might improve later with BIOS updates or you could return them and replace them with two identical sticks.

After replacing my RAM, nothing changed. I had to press Y for the TPM to get into the BIOS.
