Hello everyone, I just assembled my first PC and upon startup noticed two LEDs on the motherboard indicating issues. The DRAM LED blinked briefly before shutting off, then the BOOT LED activated and the system booted into BIOS but stayed lit. Components included a Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX (rev. 1.2), Ryzen 5 7600x, RTX 4070, Corsair rm750e, 32GB DDR5 6000MHz RAM, CL30 Trident Z5, and AMD EXPO boards. The power supply was 1.35V ARCTIC Freezer 34, eSports DUO, plus a 250GB Samsung 970 EVO Plus with NV2 drives. I updated CMOS, refreshed BIOS, reinserted RAM, reset the CPU, optimized BIOS settings, and even disconnected all fans except the CPU. It’s still lighting up. Components list is correct; voltage matches. I’m unsure if the problem lies with the 8+4 pin CPU connector or something else. No help found online—please advise or assist me!

Having the DRAM LED on briefly is typical during memory training. The Boot LED generally means no boot media detected, such as an SSD without Windows or a non-bootable USB drive. If you haven’t installed anything yet, this should be fine.

You're welcome! I'll start generating Windows 11 installation files shortly. Let me know if you need anything else.
