Hey there! I’m facing a minor issue. When I play in full-screen mode, my PC switches to desktop (like pressing alt-tab) and the game keeps running. I just installed the newest graphics driver and everything seems current. My system specs are: Intel i5 11400f, Nvidia RTX 3060, 12GB OC, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, and a 750W cooler master.

When everything seems normal, the best step I can recommend right now is to execute the sfc /scannow command to verify that all Windows components are functioning correctly. To launch System File Checker as an administrator on Windows 11, 10, or 8/8.1 from the desktop, use the Windows + X shortcut and choose Command Prompt (Admin). Remember to accept any prompts about UAC. Type SFC /scannow into the prompt and press Enter. The tool will assess and repair any compromised system files. Once finished, restart your computer.

I completed that task the previous day. While I was engaged in some games, it appears to have resolved my issue. Thanks!

If everything returns to normal after running the sfc /scannow utility and you haven’t made any changes that could trigger the issue again, the most probable cause might be related to the video drivers. Try using DDU (video driver deletion tool) to remove any driver-linked files, but after doing so, restart your machine. If you skip the reboot after using DDU, there’s a chance random NVIDIA files remain on the system. Here’s a link to the DDU uninstaller: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/display-driv...taller-DDU. After rebooting, try reinstalling the video drivers and let us know your experience. Take Care and Good Luck.
