Retrieve AMI BIOS using the most recent release or select your preferred BIOS file from the manufacturer’s support page. Rename the downloaded file to AMIBOOT.ROM. Transfer it to a floppy disk and insert it into the drive. Power on the system; it should connect to the floppy (LED will illuminate). If no connection is detected, press and hold Ctrl-Home to initiate an update. Observe any on-screen prompts to restore the correct BIOS from the disk. Upon hearing four beeps or seeing a reboot message, remove the disk. Restart the computer.
