Learn the steps to improve your PC performance.
You're looking to improve your PC without breaking the bank. Since you bought it used, consider affordable upgrades like a faster RAM module, an SSD upgrade for speed, or a basic GPU boost. Check if the motherboard supports newer components and look for budget-friendly parts that fit your needs.
depends on your goals versus current capabilities... in short, this board will run 7th generation with a BIOS upgrade, allowing CPU upgrades from the 6600 to the 7700k. 16GB RAM works, though performance gains might come from a faster processor. I’d keep the GPU unchanged unless you find it too slow. What are your needs? Are you just looking to play games, or do you have other uses in mind? Welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure about the overall performance for 3D(someone with more expertise would be better). Regarding the games you mentioned, the PC should handle them adequately, though the 380 might run a bit slower—possibly needing some settings adjustments for 1080p. The main upgrade opportunity right now is storage; 232GB isn't enough these days. Once the GPU market settles or you find a good deal, upgrading the GPU would make sense. Otherwise, you can play the games as they are and see what improvements you need.
It doesn't seem to face issues with performance in those tasks. You should be able to excel in 3D modeling without any trouble. What software are you currently working with?
