This post covers a few tips. To create a bootable USB drive, you can use the command prompt without needing extra programs. First, prepare the USB and then transfer your downloaded ISO file onto it: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...00124.aspx. For reinstalling software, many 32-bit programs now offer "bloated installers" that can be downloaded from https://ninite.com. Windows 10 includes a new repository install feature, allowing you to use similar tools from the command line. You might also consider a Slipstreamed setup, which lets you add updates and drivers directly to the USB. This simplifies future installations and refreshes. You could take the easy route by setting up a 100GB partition on a second HDD. Use Control Panel File History to create a Windows image, name it 100GB, and click Create. Wait for the process to finish. If issues arise, boot into WinRE, go to Advanced Troubleshooting, and restore the partition while excluding other drives. Once restored, your PC will return to its original state. The image creation may take a bit longer, but it saves time compared to reinstalling everything from scratch.
