How do you locate the right fiber-optic adapter and cable for a 10GB SFP+ network card? Are all SFP+ connectors suitable for a 10GB SFP+ card? Is it possible to use an SFP+ connector with a RJ45 interface? Which type of cable is best for converting SFP+ to RJ45?

You can purchase a DAC cable suitable for short ranges. For extended distances, opt for fiber cable combined with two transceivers—one for each card. Choose a transceiver that fits your fiber connector type. If you use LC Duplex connectors in your fiber, select transceivers with the same connector. For instance, this $20 transceiver works well with many devices and features an LC Duplex connector: https://www.fs.com/de-en/products/11552.html The details on the page specify 850nm, MMF, LC duplex connector, 300 meters with OM3 fiber, and 400 meters with OM4 fiber. Now you can move to optical fibers, pick either OM3 or OM4 cables, and find ready-made options with LC connectors. Here are examples: an OM3 cable: https://www.fs.com/de-en/products/41730.html an OM4 cable: https://www.fs.com/de-en/products/40180.html A comprehensive DAC cable combines a fixed cable with transceivers at both ends: https://www.fs.com/de-en/products/30863.html There are also transceivers that transform SFP+ into RJ45, though they typically support shorter distances—around 30 meters or less. For such devices, an example is: https://www.fs.com/de-en/products/87588.html (available on Amazon or eBay for about $20–30).

The DAC cable should function properly for you. I referenced a DAC cable from fs.com, a reputable company. The AliExpress option you mentioned should also be suitable. Verify the cable lists compatibility with Intel cards; most standard cards work without special transceivers or unique cables. Just plug the cable between the cards and assign each a private IP address from one of the following ranges: 192.168.0.x, 10.0.0.x, 172.16.0.x with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 on both ends.
