Hey there, so I've been repeatedly copying that paragraph for work tasks, but every time I need it I have to switch between text files, which is super annoying. I was thinking about setting up a shortcut key—maybe on my mouse or keyboard—that would automatically paste this paragraph whenever I hit it. I own a CM Storm Quickfire TK and an EVGA TorQ X5.

Instead of pressing ctrl + v, try opening the file again and pasting the same section multiple times.

It is referred to as a macro. Your mouse appears to have adjustable controls, so you can map one to copy that text. Otherwise, consider this link: https://www.jitbit.com/macro-recorder/

A macro is a recorded sequence of actions linked to one task—like pressing a button. There are tools available to automate further steps, such as typing text instantly, to achieve your goals more efficiently.
