The optimal approach is to lower the voltage slightly, though this can be more challenging on Zen 2 due to its frequency characteristics. Zen 3 leverages a built-in curve optimizer that enables variable voltage adjustments along the curve. A comparable method with Zen 2 involves using CTR at 1usmus, but it relies on software rather than hardware solutions, resulting in less consistent performance.

To enhance your Persicion boost, adjust its settings for a more aggressive performance. Set it manually for better control, or configure it to auto. Lower the voltage to the recommended level to avoid overdriving. If auto mode is used, the voltage will rise automatically.

Precision Boost is essentially a simple adjustment tied to the processor. It works well because the chip already manages power and heat effectively, helping you get the most performance from it. You might want to turn it on for PBO, which adds a bit more flexibility, though it usually works best when paired with an undervolt setting. It's typical for Ryzen to reach up to 1.5V, but it shouldn't stay at that level continuously.
