Still waiting for an 8C desktop APU amd... com'on guys. You have the silicon and package already made. Just flipping release it to consumers. Charge an arm and leg for it, I don't care. Just let me buy an iGPU together with a competitive CPU on a desktop. PLEASE!
It doesn't have to be a powerful GPU... just something that can handle 550s or similar (it's tough to pinpoint precisely, but the Vega 7 in the 4800H likely sits between 960m and 1050 maxQ). It shouldn't be a major issue if the company aims to position itself as the "better choice." If they set the price high enough. Honestly, I couldn't consciously afford a 499 12C without a GPU. I could easily defend spending $600 on a basic 12C with functionality. I'd probably go for a $600 8C Zen2 if it included an integrated GPU.
