It looks like they mostly ran on GPU limits in those titles. I’m not sure which adjustments they made, but BMW and SOTTR definitely had GPU constraints.

We need to wait for reviews because this information doesn’t give us much. BMW should be able to maintain high performance above 60FPS before hitting the CPU limit with my 5800X3D (without RT), which suggests they’ve pushed both hardware limits. RT seems to be more of a GPU benchmark, even though it can be CPU-intensive in many titles; BMW usually handles the 4090 well, so around 60FPS is a CPU constraint rather than a CPU bottleneck. I checked SOTTR results and they align with maxed settings using RT, which leans more toward GPU limits instead of CPU. I haven’t tested FC6 since I’m unfamiliar with those games, but I know players favor X3D, so it’s possible these titles are heavier on the CPU as well. Without knowing the exact settings, I can’t tell if the tests focused more on GPU or CPU performance.

Being constrained by the GPU doesn’t significantly affect the CPU performance comparison, especially when AMD GPUs run better under such conditions.

Yes, the CPU responds quicker after finishing its wait state, which often stands out. 4K scores differ in speed, and they tend to show a comparable or nearly identical gap versus 1080p.
