Leak testing power up
It's been roughly 14 hours. There are no detectable leaks, but during the past two six-hour intervals, I've managed to add about an eighth of an inch of fluid. I'm attributing this to air remaining in the system (the res still looks like 7up) or because it's winter, with heat running and the lid off for those six hours, which likely caused some evaporation over that period. I plan to let it run a bit longer.
It probably won't evaporate as much as air movement. You should periodically pause the pump so air can build up and be pushed into the reservoir when you resume operation. A positive aspect is that your radiator's I/O is positioned upward, helping to expel air effectively.
