Hey there, I've been playing League for two years now and this hasn't happened before. Suddenly, my ping jumps to 999 for a few seconds then drops back down, usually every minute. I've reinstalled the client and the game, but I'm not seeing these spikes anywhere else. Any advice would be super helpful.

It seems there might be a problem with your internet service provider.

Another friend named Lemon faces the same issue. His connection is still via phone line with no fiber, and it's extremely slow. Is your internet using fiber or not?

I attempted to clear the DNS using "ipconfig/flushdns," but it didn’t resolve the issue. I’m also experiencing consistent 50% downtime that remains unchanged. Consider checking network connections, router settings, or contacting support for further assistance.

My connection is via Comcast, so it’s likely an ISP issue. I checked my speeds and got a 36 ping with 57.71 Mbps download and 11.68 Mbps upload.

I'm checking online discussions about the issue. It seems the problem might be related to Comcast's servers. You could try alternative providers or wait for updates from the company.

It doesn't depend on your internet speed; the main problem is reliability issues, often due to packet loss. This has happened to me before with my old ISP, I got frustrated and changed providers, it's fixed now, but I no longer play LoL.

Absolutely, that's frustrating. Comcast is the only ISP available nearby, and they only offer basic 4G service. Hopefully things will improve.
