Your SSD with all system files damaged caused blue screens. You reinstalled Windows on another mechanical drive, which works fine. Now you face a confusing menu between Windows 8 and 8.1—8.1 isn’t functioning properly. The interface blocks proper restarts, preventing updates for Windows 8.1. You can access Windows 8 but not 8.1. Moving system files to the SSD is possible if you resolve the installation issue.

You're only allowed a fresh setup. Make sure to prepare the drive first. I don’t have any tools for deleting the old bootmgr after installing an OS. It seems the bootmgr file remains regardless of how many Windows versions are installed, so removal isn’t possible.

I solved it by organizing your previous system drive, thank you.
