I enjoyed playing video games as a kid, though they weren't linked to violence back then—those concerns really emerged in the 80s. It feels like assigning blame for violence mainly to video games, but it's actually about education for teachers and school boards. Religion plays a bigger role than gaming ever will.

Only when they assess your parenting skills by permitting kids to experience and engage with violent video games, then warning them they can act outside the law, is there a serious issue.

This seems careless. Or perhaps the kids are ready enough to handle the games?... To be truthful, I don’t believe CoD is that harmful. CSGO is far more dangerous, and there’s almost no profanity in it.

Off course, I didn’t consider that. Perhaps they should protect the school gates with laser beams from sharks. That would match their wild ideas perfectly.

They promise to file reports and likely will. They have nothing left to do since their power is limited. "Security" cameras are placed in key spots throughout the campus.
