Latest Windows 11 releases and improvements.
Windows 11 continues to receive security and feature updates even on PCs with the 7th Gen CPU, as long as they meet all other requirements.
Today I installed Windows 11 and didn’t receive any alerts about it. Even when trying to install on unsupported hardware, it didn’t block the upgrade from Windows 10. There were no warnings at all about unsupported devices, not even in the Windows update settings. The PC runs on a 7th generation processor and works perfectly fine. Performance remains the same, and all security features are active.
Ensure SecureBoot TPM 2.0 is present with at least 4GB RAM and a storage drive of 64GB or more. Windows 11 will install smoothly without adjustments. The processor needs compatible chipset drivers to minimize security risks because the CPU includes features that enhance protection. Security issues have been resolved through updates by AMD, Intel, motherboard makers, and OEMs.
