It didn’t freeze on five different PCs in your home. Could a changed setting be blocking the update? You might try using the media creator tool to download the latest creator update and install it.

I don’t interact with anything in my settings. It also warned me about resetting multiple times, and the first one caused a freeze.

I understand you're asking for a more precise description of what was affected during the update. Based on your account, it seems the system experienced freezing issues, particularly with the CPU getting very hot and causing the fans to spin up significantly. The update stalled at 33% before progressing again after about thirty minutes.

I’d say that, though. The circle was stuck, which is why I thought it was frozen. I could retry, but normally the circle doesn’t freeze, and my mouse would glow instead. That’s what made me think it was frozen.

If you ask me to retry, I’ll do it—I’m nearly certain it was frozen. I left it there for at least five minutes before restarting.

I managed to move the mouse, so perhaps your PC froze just a bit. Do you have an alternative for the CPU, GPU, or HDD/system that can put it to sleep after some time? Those two factors often lead to freezing during an update, especially when doing an overclock.

It might have actually frozen now, which is a concern. The best option would be to use the media creator tool to download the latest update and install it from a bootable USB drive. I strongly recommend doing the update because the internet is unreliable, and as @Billy_Mays mentioned, you don't want to get infected with WannaCry or any newer versions that lack kill switches.
