Day1 - Discovered star swarm on STEAM, a challenge meant to test dx12 in Windows10. Shared a video made with Nvidia Shadowplay and Star Swarm: when I mentioned switching to DX12, it actually meant moving to a Windows 10 trial version. The main goal was to discuss dx12. I’ve upgraded to DirectX 12 and enjoy creating topics to share impressions and organize past info on the forum. In benchmarks, I saw a big jump—300-400 points overall with the same graphics card and specs. Gaming-wise, Shadow of Mordor feels much smoother now; my machine runs faster and more fluidly without any blur. What do you think? What are your expectations?
What is the shadow of Mordor? A question about the dark realm from Game of Thrones.
Well, I realize there isn't a dx12 game, but we can observe how the system behaves using a win 10 trial. I only encounter issues when trying to start a topic. Anyway, whether I'm right or wrong, we began discussing dx12. Perhaps those enhancements stem from the operating system. I considered getting a demo or benchmark for dx12 to test. Have you heard about any dx12 bench compatible with Windows 10?
I'm excited about having multiple GPUs viewed together. SLI works perfectly for that.
Star Swarm can be set up to utilize the system's default dx3d for your setup, which is dx12. Uploading videos to YouTube is impressive—really cool!
