Hey there! It seems the latest titles I’ve picked up, like Black Ops 4 and Battlefield 1, aren’t performing as expected. With my current setup—an i7-4770, 12GB DDR3, GTX 1060 Ti, and a 750W PSU—I’m managing around 40fps. That’s not bad, but I’m curious if upgrading to Windows 10 with DirectX12 would help. Let me know!

Sure, I enjoy playing some classic titles. I prefer keeping my old files without switching to Windows 10.

Many classic titles continue to function on Windows 10, though you may need to adjust certain compatibility options. For systems built for 64-bit, switching to Windows 10 is recommended. Keep in mind that Windows 7 is nearing its 10th anniversary and wasn’t designed for modern games.

You might lose your saved games and media if you upgrade without reinstalling everything, forcing you to search for them again.

Creating a Windows 10 installation USB lets you upgrade without losing your existing data, simply providing a fresh version while keeping your current files intact.

It indicates your graphics card isn't supported on Windows 10. Reach out to the maker for details. NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X (NVIDIA) May face issues with your screen in Windows 10.

Upgrading to Windows 10 likely doesn't greatly affect overall game performance for most titles. Some games slow down more in Windows 10 compared to Windows 7. I notice Battlefield 1 and other DX12 games actually perform worse in DX12 mode. My i7 2600K at 4.6 Ghz with a GTX 1070 runs smoothly on both Windows 7 and 10. Also, Windows 10's Game Mode tends to reduce gaming speed. What are your settings and FPS range for Battlefield 1?
