Star Citizen Patch v2.3.0 Alpha is now live for players to try! This update introduces our new flyable Khartu-al, the hangar-ready Starfarer (plus a matching hangar bay), plus two fresh FPS weapons, new parts, updated animations and EVA sequences, plus many bug fixes. During this early phase, PTU access will be limited to a small group that we’ll expand as needed. Your launcher should show “2.3.0 – 334301” as the client version. It’s recommended that you clear your USER folder after patching, especially if you run into odd graphics or crashes. The USER folder (default location: C:\Program Files\Cloud Imperium Games\StarCitizen\Test) should be removed. Hey, I haven’t received a PTU invite before. Are you coming to the meeting today?
It's been more than three months since my last catch-up? Not sure. But I'm getting closer soon.
Alpha Patch 2.3.0a is now live for PTU, ready for testing! This update introduces our new flyable Khartu-al, the hangar-ready Starfarer (with a matching hangar bay), plus two fresh FPS weapons, new parts, enhanced animations and EVA sequences, plus many improvements throughout the game. In this early stage, access will be limited to a select group of players, which we’ll broaden as needed. Your launcher should display “2.3.0 – 335400” when installed. It’s advised to remove your USER folder for the test client after applying the patch, especially if you notice strange graphics or loading problems. The default USER folder location is typically C:\Program Files\Cloud Imperium Games\StarCitizen\Test. Check our Patch 2.3.0 Known Issues list and use the Issue Council on the Community site to report bugs or help others. We’ve adjusted missile speeds, radar ranges, and shield damage handling, plus improved UI elements for the Gladiator and Hornet. We’re working on balancing ship HUDs, fixing missile performance bugs, and adjusting power plant installations. Players can now rejoin the 300 series via EVA, avoid falling through ship hulls, and resolve display conflicts with the Constellation. The Khartu-al Xian Scout now features thrusters, audio cues, and refined flight handling.
